The mission and purpose of Angels On Foot Inc. is to provide education, shelter, and food to children and families in impoverished communities globally.
The core value of our organization is that everyone globally should have access to quality of life: access to food, clean water, healthcare and education. To close this gap, Angels on Foot Inc. mission and vision are to provide resources that are readily available to countries of poverty regardless of race or nationality. Angels on Foot Inc. represents a platform that will advocate for people, families, and children who are deprived of basic life essentials globally.
Evensley has a passion for helping others that can be traced back to his early years. Born in Haiti and moving to the United States at the age of 8, his heart has always had a soft spot for helping others. Whether he is doing volunteer work or donating his time, effort or funds to various philanthropic endeavors, Evensley takes pride in fulfilling both his and his late mother’s life-long dream of making a difference. Impacting those that are less fortunate, not only in our society but throughout the world, has become his favorite pastime. Evensley loves to spend time with his family. He enjoys cooking, listening to various genres of music and reading. In his spare time he is active in real estate and investing.
Born and raised in Haiti, Robert Denis came to the USA in his late 20’s. He is a former soccer player for the national team of Haiti. Besides his work, Robert is an entrepreneur and founder of FOUNDATION ROBERT DENIS INC. He loves to listen to Haitian music (Kompa) and still enjoys playing soccer in his spare time.
Mario Jeune graduated from New York City College of Technology with a Bachelor degree in Health Services administration. Mario has been working as a healthcare administrator for over 7 years. He had decided to go into healthcare right after the passing of the Affordable Care Act in 2010. He believes that the ACA would play a great role in improving the health of minorities in a lot of communities across America, and felt that he had a calling to take part in it. Mario is a devout fan of Barcelona football club. His favorite quote is “The fierce urgency of now” by Dr. Martin Luther King Junior.
Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, Jean Luc has a great deal of experience in the information technology field. He loves to read poetry, Langston Hughes, Maya Angelou and others, as well as a collection of inspirational quotes to keep him on that positive path of life. Jean Luc enjoys watching NBA basketball and NFL football, his favorite team is the NY Giants. He likes to travel and see how other nationalities and cultures are in comparison to his own. One of his favorite quotes is by Eleanor Roosevelt, “Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people”.
Angels on Foot Inc was founded by Evens Jean-Pierre, Robert Denis, Jean-Luc Jean-Pierre, and Mario Jeune. As young men growing up in Haiti, they quickly realized how tough life was for them and their families due to poverty, with no access to resources and additional help. Witnessing first hand families who have had to make difficult decisions on whether to send their child to school or put food on the table, each of the founders vowed to be leaders and work hard to alleviate the burden in communities throughout the world that are stricken by hardship and destitution.
